Rocket Half power switch

I am concidering a rocket build. I saw that Nik @ Ceriatone puts a half power switch in his Rockit Kit. Anyone ever tried this, and how did it affect the sound(Tone)

Yes I have that feature but rarely use it. The big chime is with the quad.

Chances are that he saw the half power switch here...

Look 'round and you'll see variations on the theme - there are a few ways to implement it.

Thanks for the info. Yea, I'm doing some searching around the Garage on the subject. I know we're talking two different animals here, but when I built an Express I found out it's loud as Hell. So on this build I'm looking at the options ahead of time. For the Express I am going to install a VVR or build an Airbrake.
