Hi Tony,
Why have the Blue OT primary going through the chassis without a grommet? There's no way HAD did that? Someone else has worked on/replaced that OT.
Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Tony,
as Paul said, I too think that someone must have messed with the amp. Those missing grommets would be unlikely for Dumble?
What I finde more interesting though is the OD section of this amp. Showing paralleled caps with the grid resistors!
Any info on that?
How does the amp sound?
Cheers,
Electron

Hey Guy's
Yeah I too never thought this was HAD's work..Even the secondary wires were run above the filament wiring..I saw the parallel grid caps as well as the snubber on V2b..He also has a bypass ceramic across the 100K OD relay feed..I have never seen these types of mods in any other Dumbles from this era..Although I never actually heard this amp I would imagine looking at it this would have a brighter type OD tone than the normal fare..

Is this amp supposedly HAD built? (looks like it)
Maybe somebody else installed a new OT and instead of unsoldering wires, they cut the wires then used the wire nuts.
Any other pictures or info?
