I also look forward daily to log in and read the latest info. I have built 2 great sounding Dumble type amps. I truly am thankful and respect the "big" guys who go out of their way to post layouts and contribute their knowledge and expertise.

Mea culpa, Rat's Ass was an oblique reference to "modern eagle" mod since you said no one gives a rat's ass about cieratone, I was playing dumb that it might be some new product from Nik. Rat's Nest was a shot at "first ods type build", I had no idea about the lab rat! I guess my sense of humor needs a little more work... I don't get out much...

^^^ It has taken a lot of smarts, and a lot of heart, to build this fine community.

I participate in a few online communities, and am a moderator at a musician-type forum. So I've been mired in smoothing over flame-wars before, trying to keep the peace. There is relatively little flaming here, based on my experience over the past year or so.

In any case, I appreciate the knowledge and generosity of the folks here. It is that advice, counsel, experience, insight, and technical skills galore that keeps the world of tube amps alive.

Seeing the sticky that dogears posted makes me feel inclined to apologize for bringing up Nik's stuff in a negative light. My final words on this are that this is a public forum and the information that people post is viewable to all eyes. It's always good to keep this in mind before posting IP, whether it be yours or others. Can somebody post that SSS schematic now? (just kidding, I ain't building one and I don't care!)

I agree with others above that this is a great resource for anybody interested in tube amps, especially guitar related, and we should try to keep the forum focused towards this. I'll avoid smack talk and instigation in the future and my apologies again for being such an ass in this thread.
