what part of the plate is connected to the cathode bypass capacitor chris? what part of the plate resistor controls the high frequency roll off of the cathode capacitor chris?
Bypass caps have no relavance to the bias point of the stage AcousticMirror. Stop trying to be a smart ass.

HRM vs. non-HRM has nothing to do with high plate/low plate or biasing. I was just saying HRM seem to generally be high plate.
Also the plate is connected to the cathode via the snubber cabs on V2 ;)
I'm not talking about the bias of the stage. I was just commenting that on most non-hrm schematics I've seen the cathode is bypassed with a 4.7 on the last od stage, on the hrm schematics that is bypassed by a 1. That will shift the frequency response of the stage before the tone stack regardless of whether the hrm tone stack is in the circuit or not.

I thought most of the hrms didn't have the snubber :D.

The bias of that stage will only affect the overdrive characteristics. The hrm cathode resistors I've seen are only a bit closer to saturation then the non.

Not being a smart ass chris. just trolling you for lols and helping out when I can.

I sometimes put a snubber on V2b/OD2 in my HRM's (BM or straight HRM)...depending on how 'fresh' the amps are , what guitar and speaker I use.

I think snubbers are 'allowed' in HRM's
