I've got a 50 watt New Sensor OT for a Marshall JMP/JCM and no diagram for the secondaries. I think it is called the MOT-50 or something similar. Does anybody know where I can find this diagram, or of a website where these trannies are available? The 2ndaries are yellow, purple and orange.
Thanks much,
Dave

Are you sure that's an MOP-50 from New Sensor? The ones I have used had 4 wires out of the secondary for 4, 8, and 16 ohm plus common. attached is a gif file on the MOP-50

Have you got the url for the site where you got that gif?

Re: New Sensor OTs
Put the leads on your DMM, the one that measures the most resistance to the common is the larger output.

Re: New Sensor OTs
Thanks, Funk! That's it. I had measured before and got erratic, unrepeatable readings on all three. Then I noticed the "low battery" symbolFunkalicousgroove wrote:Put the leads on your DMM, the one that measures the most resistance to the common is the larger output.
in the DMM's display. They now measure 1.0 ohm, 0.8 and 0.6 consistently. Much appreciate the help, gang. Now I can get on with birthin' this baby
