I use a Roland GFC-50 Midi controler
it has A/B switch with 5 presets each
both sets are the same except for the volume. I have set up my B patches a bit louder in the Xpression. This was I can get the same sound but 1 louder (Nigel Tufnell)
Onbiouisly you could do this with any midi controler

I use a TC M-OneXL in the parallel loop of a Fuchs ODS50. I love the unit. I can't say enough good things about it. I has some of the lushest verbs that I've experienced for the price. I also like the fact it has two processing engines so that I can have verb+chorus or verb+delay or whatever combos. I find the unit is not satisfactory in a series loop - flattens the tone too much. Again, it is not good in a series loop. I use it with a Ground Control Pro midi foot controller so that I can jump between many settings really easily. I also have an expression pedal so that I can set the effect volume on the fly based on the room, the patch, and how I'm hearing that night. Sounds like I'm in a studio. :-)

I know I'm late to the show, but I'm having great luck with the Belton Digi-Log reverb chip. Brian Neunaber helped me change a few things to the design, and I'm very pleased with it.

I just bought the kit from General Guitar Gadgets and added our changes on two daughter boards.

I'll post pics later if anyone is interested. It's a rat's nest, though.

Yep, the GGG kit is the Hermida Reverb, which is a tweaked version of the schematic Brian Neunaber (the designer of the chip) posted. I believe Alfonso worked with Brian on it, I'd have to ask him to be sure though.

All I did is reduce the number of opamps to one, added a tone control, and I'm working on adding a control to adjust the gain of the stage driving the chip to get more or less reverb beyond a standard mix control. Kind of like a dwell control, I guess. I may fall on my face on that one, though. :)
