I am going with a d'lite schematic. I plan on using the 5v taps for a tube rectifier and i assume I will have to get a separate transformer for the relay switching from advice I received from one of my previous threads?
If these are a go I am going to place the order tonight for them, but I am still a bit fuzzy about the Choke and Relay transformers I would use. If these PT and OT wont work, is there something else available from weber that would suit the build better? I have a store credit with them, so I might as well get my transformers there.
I'm not sure if the PT HT @ 200ma is enough for 4 x 6V6.
I have a 2 x 6L6 D'lite and the PT is 300ma though I understand that 6L6 draw twice the heater current.
I think the early D'lites (2 x 6V6) used 200ma PT's but later were changed to the 300ma ones.
4 x 6V6 would be 1.8 amps heater current so you are good there.
The transformers for this weber 4x6v6 build uses the below transformer. It is rated a lower wattage transformer on their site, with 150ma for the high voltage instead of 200ma, so I assumed it would give me a little more room to play with, though I dont want to fry anything. I am a worry wart and always like to double triple check. Sorry if I am annoying anyone with my questions!

Something else to consider is if a PT is not very robust and is a little weak on current, it will sag more as the current demand goes up.
It can also lead to higher heat within the transformer as it tries to meet the demand.
So in saying that the 200ma one is probably fine but may compress a bit or sag when cranked up.
This may be desirable or not.

My concern is reliability and safety over sag content, I want it to sag, this is the reasoning for the tube rectifier.
If you want reliability and quality don't go with Weber. I have had countless PTs and chokes fail from them. If you search around you'll see many other people have had issues with their iron.

I've had good luck with all those Chris mentioned, but I'd like to add Edcor to the list.
I personally wouldn't hesitate to use a 300-0-300/200mA transformer with a 4x6V6 build. I build a 4x6V6 Rocket using Edcor's XPWR008, and it does just fine, doesn't get hot, amp sounds great.
EDIT: I was going to add... one downside of Edcor is the probable wait for delivery. They wind them all to order. It's been a few months since I've ordered from them, but at the time they were estimating a 6-8 week delivery time. I think in my case it ended up being closer to 6. Keep that in mind if you're on a timeline.
