I was wondering if that was a Glaswerks amp that David was playing through, it looked kind of like your logo but I couldn't be sure.

Last night I had the pleasure of hearing David Lindley with Jackson Browne in Hamburg,Germany. He played lapsteel on five songs,
including "Mercury Blues" and "Running On Empty".
Excellent playing, excellent tone, just like the good ol´times.
I had the feeling his tone is a bit smoother these days, with a more
pronounced midrange.Any comments from the amp´s creator?
Anyway, great stuff, I never thought I´d get to hear this again

The amp he is playing is a basic Glawerks Zingaro with 6L6's and a G1265. Modified Skyliner stack, loop and reverb. He is getting a lot of growl out of the amp based on the clips I have heard on you tube.

Thank you for the info Gary,
so you have not heard Lindley playing your amp in person?
The clips,as usual, are nothing compared to the real thing.
Lindley gets a very vocal like tone, a bit smoother than in previous
times. It also proves that you don´t need the FET input for the Lindley
tone.Congratulations Marcos

No, never heard him live. He contacted me a couple of months ago about amps for this tour. I sent him my personal Zingaro to try and he was very happy with it (so happy I almost didn't get it back :D ). I ended up building a matched pair for him in the same configuration. No FET, but I think he is running a pedal in front of the amp that he borrowed from Mark Goldenberg. Not sure what it is, I will ask.

Planning on seeing him in Las Vegas when they play tbe Hard Rock botel.

Here is a rather young David Lindley, not to mention Terry, and a kid named Alan White.....
