I'm not very good at spinning, just reading the emails and your outrage at being asked to pay what you asked me to buy for you. The piping for a head cab around the valance/face is not the same as what's used on a cab, so that alone had to be ordered especially for this deal, and you knew it.
But you seem to forget you told me to have it by a certain date, do it over a weekend, ship it out the next week early so you could have it back by the next weekend.
Beyond the mere cost of materials is the weekend I spent at home expecting to do your head cab with no notice from you that I didn't have to wait. And for the record, you never contacted me once you sold it, I had to contact you, just as I posted before.
Maybe you think it's ok to screw with someone's weekend based on being a complete flake, but I'm guessing if you did this to someone else and screwed with their weekend for no reason, or if you had someone do it to you, you'd probably feel quite differently. But you were never good at communication, or at putting yourself in someone else's shoes, huh?
If you had contacted me prior to the materials being ordered, told me you were selling the head cab and to hold off, we wouldn't even have this thread going, would we? Of course not! So step up and accept the responsibility of not doing what you should have done, Chuck, because you own it all. You are a flake, and I asked you to pay for your flake attitude and you took it personally. Welcome to reality, sir. I get the idea you've never had to pay for your own mistakes before, and routinely shove them off on others. I guess that's why your Dad paid that $35 for you, and not you, huh? Or maybe you can decipher this paypal note included with the $35 payment, but it seems clear that your Dad is paying your debts, even for the amount of $35. Now who was hurting for cash here...really?
Paypal note: "Here is the $35 for the tolex. Please refrain from emailing me because I no longer want to read anything from you. My son's value's are just fine as are mine. I have never backed out of any deals so I really don't know who you are getting your information from but you can believe what you want to believe. You must be hurting for money if you are making such a great deal out of $35 sorry to hear that. Well now you can double your money on this deal because you are getting money from me and you can charge the next person $35 for the tolex as well. Good luck to you."
