Hi Guys,

I've just stumbled across this site today and decided to register. I thought I'd better introduce myself. I am a I. T. Technical Support Manager for a retail company since I must work for a living. However in real life I am a gigging singer guitarist with a passion for gear.
I was at one time an electronics engineer in the Royal Air Force and I still like to dabble especially with tube electronics. I recently ripped the guts out of my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and rebuilt it as a Bassman clone 5F6A circuit. I'm planning another project soon but can't decide between 6G15 or Deluxe Reverb. I guess the 6G15 will be a hell of a lot cheaper.
Anyhow I hope I can learn a bit from this site and maybe be able to contribute a bit here and there.

Pete

Welcome indeed! Good to see you have your priorities right!

Be careful here, one can easily get hooked on Dumbles or Trainwrecks (ask me how I know this!).

Welcome Pete glad to have you on board.

I will advocate the Trainwreck Rocket amp with reverb added as a good choice instead of the Deluxe reverb.

Well, actually either one is very good. :)

Welcome, Pete.

You might as well make a list actually, and then just prioritise it, because you'll end up working through it regardless!

Thanks for the lovely welcome guys. I'll be sure to check out the schematic for the Trainwreck Rocket amp. Andy, I live in the West Lothian area of Scotland near a town called Falkirk.

Regards

Pete
