How do the tones of the two compare? I know it's 34's vs 84's, I just figured i'd ask
I've been really thinking about a clone but can't decide on which one I want.
Sorry if it's a dumb question...
Thanks!!

Re: Express vs. Liverpool (tone)
Liverpool is more middy, less bottom, a touch cleaner and more compressed.
The Express is brighter, faster, tighter and more bottom with a more agressive mid range.
I like the Express the most.

Glen K. says the Express does the clean-up w/volume better than the Liverpool. I only have a Liverpool, so I can't add more.

That's kind of what I assumed. I'm thinking the Express is the one for me!JamesHealey wrote:Liverpool is more middy, less bottom, a touch cleaner and more compressed.

I love the fact that it cleans up so well with guitar volume.
