While I respect your ability to make your own decision, It sounds like you prefer george michaels to the blues.....

I think he is rockin. There for a while I had given up on the future of the blues in the commercial racket for youngsters. Joe proved me wrong.

;-)

Just sayin...
Joe is a great player, no doubt there. But the songs I've heard that he's written are pretty godawful as far as blues goes. I could see liking him a lot more in a different band format but he tends to play blues/rock with cheesy, stereotypical lyrics and solos that I would hardly call blues. With songs like this, I group him more with John Mayer than I do with guys that I would call modern blues players.

While I like the original Bad Company version better I don't think he did that bad of a job. I like Joe B and many of his original tunes are kick ass IMO.But to each his own I guess. Chad

Lol sorry, bad example. I didn't realize that was a Bad Company tune! I can't hate on him too much, as I said he's a great player but I have a hard time buying the whole guitar hero thing he does for some reason.

I don't know how much is the pedestal people place these guitar players on or how much is JB's ego. He has one of course but I also found him to be very genuine and easy to verse with.
