Tommy Emmanuel

Post by Runaway J »

Hi,
just spent 2 hour checking TE-clips on youtube.
Saw him several times here in Germany. His playin' is hardly to describe in words,
so if you don't already know him - here are the 3 clips that amused me most:

Enjoy,
Jürgen

He's an aussie guy 8) and has been around FOREVER...

Back in the 60's :!: he and his brother (Phil) were two guitar playing kids.

In the early 70's they were playing note for note Al Dimeola.

I've got a dedicated Favorites folder on my computer that contains nothing but Tommy E. youtube clips. The guy is simply amazing. The only trouble with watching too much of his playing is that it makes me want to throw my guitars away.

Phil is the electrified one of the two...usually. I have really wanted to hear Phil with an ODS- some type of high plate.
