Sniff.....
Don't get all misty and stuff. I just pulled the last batch of changes out of my amp today. Kinda sounded like a Fuzz Face through a transistor amp.

 Joking, some ideas work, some don't but the beauty of it is he shares the ideas openly. 8)

I joined this forum when it first started to learn about Twrecks. I knew nothing of Dumbles, but have avidly followed the discussion from the beginning because I was fascinated by the depth of knowledge of the complete signal chain by some of the hardcore disciples of this kind of amp.

So, thank you very much Scott, and Brandon, Henry, Gary, Gil, Norm, Tony, Andy, and everybody else that I forgot for letting us all be members of your club.

I just started my first D style build, it's a 50W 124 conversion of a silverface Bassman w/ built in D'lator. At this point, I don't really know if it's a D clone or a Redplate clone ! LOL.

I'm dying to contribute something here, so I am going to start a thread soon with a complete documentation of my experience.

Thanks again everybody. Happy New Year !
Ryan

Wow! Some serious chops going on there! Tone sounds very good but I wouldn't go selling any of those tube amps just yet. Happy New Year.

Amen! Scott, I remember when you gave me a call and gave me a couple of tips. I thought the amp sounded OK before, but it just felt right afterward. Now I have an amp that feels like home, and all I have to worry about is playing. Thanks so much!
