I have a Ceriatone ODS and when the PAB is turned on, the volume jump is so significant I never use it. I know it's a boost, but Is there a way to lower the volume jump but keep the tonal characteristics? I'd like to play the amp in all it's modes but without the huge volume spike when the PAB is engaged.
Appreciate any thoughts on the matter.

If its the typical PAB on a relay that ties the Bass P3 to Bass P2 and Bass P3 to Treble P1 there should be some 22M anti-pop resistors across those relay poles. Change those to something smaller - I like 2M2 or 3M3 but you can go as low as 470K and still have some boost.

If you have the stack set on Jazz and go to the boost the jump to light speed will be much greater than on the Rock setting... Nature of the Design... If you use the Rock setting the boost is perfect to me!!
