Here's my 18watt lite IIb I built from a old Webster reel to reel chassis, the box I got from the fleamarket, I was thinking of maybe putting a oval speaker in front if I could find a desent sounding one that could handle 20watts like old valcos, or I may just use colored plexiglass. Not sure yet ideas needed, which knob looks best?

Cool build Mark! You could maybe get two 5" or 6" speakers in that oval opening on a baffle. The oval speakers I've tried were fairly wimpy with their limited cone excursion and thin paper, but they make fairly decent round speakers in that size for different applications. You could put a switch on the back as well to toggle between the built in speakers or a cab too
