ROCK IT!! The trem circuit is honestly terrible. If it meets spec its still just terrible. Unless you fiddle around and get lucky with it, it's going to be terrible and the best you can hope for is awful in the best bestest case.

Great amp. :)

Trem is much better now with the right pots and resistor values. It is always on a bit when intensity is on zero so I'll have to get a footswitch working. Does anyone know what kind of plug I can get for this jack? I think it is original Marshall type.

Kinda looks like a male panel mount 3 pin DIN. I've never seen one though. This may be the female counterpart...

Thanks, I ordered some 3 pin DINs. It looks the same size as a midi cable so hopefully it will work out and the pins will fit. Worst case, I'll install a midi jack instead but would rather not.

Oh man, I could go down the rabbit hole with this amp for sure. The volume pots don't seem to be functioning very well. I'm measuring over 1.2M until turning over halfway on either volume pot. The useable range for volume is from about 7-10 or it is too low volume. The amp sounds pretty good dimed or close to it. I measured it and it puts out about 35W so I think it is solid otherwise. I'm thinking of replacing the rest of the old tone stack pots also. Speed and intensity I already did with Alphas.I cannot identify what the original pots are, they look old but treble and presence are smaller than the others. They are probably all not original. Who knows. Just want to make it work right.

Any suggestions on what would be the best "period correct" options for this amp?

In this situation I would replace everything with Alphas that measure at least what the scemaric calls for and be happy. The pink TS wire is very iportant though..

;)

No it isn't.

Ha, yes, pink does sounds better! I am leaning toward the Alphas. Should be easier to install a new clean ground bus wire. Won't be re-using what is there now.......
