Here is the new cabinet for this amp.
It's walnut, sapele, and tiger maple. Need to put handle on and make back panel, and more finish work. :)

Beautiful cab!
Faceplate 3. Same as light accent lines.

Is #2 oxblood? It's a personal fave of mine and would go nicely with the wood. The piping (accent lines) looks much like #1 to me, sort of the standard Marshall gold?

I would say do a wood one but I think that would make it look too much like a Trainwreck.

Ok here is Faceplate-3.
Tiger Maple. May try a Plexi style Faceplate also, but I like the Maple.
Now the lettering? :?

Yes kind of, I used Photoshop to color and letter the first two Faceplates.
#3 is wood and is on the amp. Oxblood reminds me of an AC30 I like it also.

Thanks Bob, thought about doing Tolex but went with wood. I think it was the right choice. :)

How did you do those accent lines? Is that inlaid? Looks really fine.

Quite welcome, Jeff. Looks absolutely beautiful, and I would be proud to own that cabinet myself!

Hmm, typeface - so many choices. Sans serif, for sure, to start. Nothing too whimsical, comical or casual, but nothing stark, blocky or archaic. I'm thinking something with a slightly narrow aspect to keep the words tighter?

Your example is slanted, but I wonder if upright might work better with the right angles of the wood pattern. Opposing view from the wife; a semi-cursive like your example is a nice contrast to the right angles.

I'll bet your amp sounds as good as the cab looks.

Yes I inlaid maple in the front stripe also the top and bottom.
Had to bend the top and bottom pieces like bending guitar sides.
Border of front panel is 3/4" thick strip glued to edge.

Stunner. If Marshall had any brains they'd have issued a super special edition with a cab like that.
