Hi
Got a kit amp Jtm45 that sounds great recently installed a ppimv with great result. Thinking about going v1 5751 v2 5751 pi 7025 and 6i6 output tubes. Any comments?

Let your own ears be your guide .
The most influential tube in any amp is the first preamp tube in each channel.
That tube and its
Gain
Current output
Andthe tone that those two allow sets up the nature and feel thru the whole amp, input jack to speaker.
You should go to the tube amp blue printing site and read the two info papers to be found there about preamp tubes and output tubes .
The info is from 20 years ago, but still fully relevant.

I just finished a tweed Bassman (very similar to JTM45) and settled on (1) JJ ECC83 MG, (1) JJ 5751, and (1) JJ ECC83 S. The JTM 45 I finished last year I ended up with three Sovtek 12AX7 WBs. "Let your ears be your guide" is excellent advice because each amp is a bit different.
You only YOLO once.

Ended up with nos Ge 5751 v1 and 2, Tad 7025 pi and tad 6l6 it sounds amazing.
