Vintage Amp

I have read a bit about vintage Fender amps some a lot better than other I saw one on Craig's list was wondering if its one of the better ones Twin Reverb Vintage 1973 equivalent to $1000 USD
I don't want to buy something that's hard to sell if I don't like it

it's priced okay. probably one of the all time most popular fender amps (next to the deluxe reverb). the only potential issue with resale is that these are LOUD AS HELL and with how dirt cheap pa wattage is these days many venues/gigging musicians shy away from the big amps

$600-800 is the going rate around here (northern CA). They're difficult to sell.

That amp is one of the last models before the next big change came of the master volume control and other changes that fully ruined the feel from those amps!

Still to get the regular vintage feel and tone out of that amp it the phase inverter section will need to go back to the Blackface set up and the bias circuit should really be modded to retain its bias balance feature, but also have the Blackface bias adjust pot added.

As posted, it's a loud amp when working right so unless you want it just for loud clean tones I would look for something with less power!
