Bassman pa100 speaker options

Post by fopoman »

Cleaning my shop I dug out my bassman pa100 chassis. Could someone recommend some speaker options.

Thank you folks, it feels great to be back

Well first off will you be playing guitar thru the amp or Bass?
Next up what size cabinet are you willing to move around if the amp will be used to play out with?

I wanted it for running vocals and guitar. Maybe 2 - 100 watt 12"s like a twin or four tens? Jensen's or Weber's? I've been outta the game for a minute.... Not sure what kinds of speaker manufacturers are out there.

Thanks Steve,

Getting the best sound out of a driver that is not a 2 way type to do justice to both vocals and guitar is going to be a real challenge!
