That will help. Maybe consider making the bass channel look exactly like the normal channel.

That was my thought too, balance the gain. Where is the reverb circuit going? Up front like a pedal or in an FX loop?

Martin, I've been using the Reverb in the jumper from Norm -> Bass Ch.
An effects loop would be good, I've been researching it, but haven't found one I like, that's why I started this attempt at modding the Bass Ch

I would recommend one of two changes. One is simple and the other is complicated.

The simple solution is to dupe the Normal channel on the Bass Instrument channel and bypass V2. This is a very elegant and simple solution that I have found to be very popular with dozens of players.

The complicated solution is to add a unity gain anode follower somewhere in the Bass Instrument channel to flip the phase. You have half of V2 available. Where you put this gain stage may change the tone so that might take some planning and/or experimenting. (This would be somewhat canon since the later Bassman use an anode mixer to combine the channels from 1965 on.)

Hope this helps, considering it does not exactly follow your listed parameters in your original post.
You only YOLO once.

Thanks Olomert!
The Cathode Follower on V1b worked pretty well but I had to dime the channel to get enough output. I increased the gain a little on the channel by adding a Cathode Bypass Cap on V2b. This is working pretty well for me now.

Next I'm looking at going all in and making the Bass Ch into a Dumbleator effects loop, seems perfect. Use the 2 input jacks for send/return and the pots for send/treble/return levels.
Thoughts?
