Someone is selling a '68 Bandmaster (silverface) with its 2x12 cab for $600 nearby.

I had a blackface 10 years ago. Nice amp, and 600$ cab included is a good price!

Its a nice amp and a good price if its all there (factory transformers, the speakers are shit by then anyway!) and with a kick ass set of JJ output tubes will do over 40 watts of clean power with new filters like my 67 does!
Note that this amp does NOT use a tube recto and does NOT use a cathode follower section in the preamp so if you are thinking it will sound like a Bassman when you play thru the normal channel in regards to lead tones, it will not!
CBS may have started to do some of there funky stuff with that 68 so you would want to go through it and blackface it at least in regards to the small caps that may have been added to tame any oscillation issues!

I decided to pass. It's been modded, and I already have too many projects to undo someone else's work.
