There are lots of guys doing this.... and I'm gonna do it some day too when I have $3,000 I have nothing else to do with... :D

I wish the guy would have shown what it did.

Looked like it was writing something but he was so excited that it actually worked he didn't show the results. :lol:

Nick at Rockcliff is a very nice guy who is very helpful. His plans are fairly good and the machine a small CNC device. I am going for something a little bigger to do neck inlays, circuit boards, etc.

Check out Joe's 4x4 CNC on CNCzone.com... now THAT'S a manly tool!!!! :twisted:

To do it right, it is pretty damn spendy... and takes up a LOT of real estate in the garage shop...

Yeah there's a guy at the ReRanch forum that is a cabinet maker.
They are fortunate to have a large CNC machine.
Well he discovered about a year ago that it worked really great to make bodies and necks. :D
I think he said they paid $20K for theirs.
