$2.50 or less. I don't want Tele style knobs. I would like some like this. I pulled these off an old piece of test equipment. Even Marshall style as long as their silver and not gold.

CE has them with the silver cap for 1.85 ea.
Re: Knob Source............
Those black knobs we get off the TW bom from mouser "Daves Knobs", I have seen those lately in red and yellow where do they get different colors from. The mouser catalog only has black.

I've used Mcmaster.com for quite a few knobs. Chicken heads for $1.45 ea. for 10 or more.

I've been checking at "the Source" lately. You know that cheap store in malls that used to be called "Radio Shack".
Anyways, they had these nice quality black control knobs with a white line to indicate direction and a circular silver looking round cap on top. I think they look sort of original and classy and they came in a pack of four on clearance for 96 cents per pack.
I check every Source I see in recent months and buy up every pack I see.
I only find a pack or two left in about 1/4 of the shops I go into.
I guess I have a total of about 4 packs now.
brass inserts and tough feeling. Sort of a hexagon shaped tophat knob. I'll post a pic when I get home. Much better quality than original Marshall knobs.

Speakin' of cool stuff at Radio Shack, I like their 120V neon jewel light assemblies--less than $3 each! They have a nice big red jewel on the front. The neons last waaaaaaaaaaaay longer that the cheap ass 6V flashlight bulbs available these days for the Fender style jewel assemblies.
The added value in using neon (KF used to talk about their longevity) is that, sometimes, when the 6V bulbs flare and die, they'll spike the current draw enough to eat the amp's main fuse. It REALLY sucks to power up before a gig, only to have your damn jewel bulb kill the fuse you forgot to bring spares for.....not like that ever happened to me, of course!
