Have you guys seen this?

Personally, I think the tapes should be shared with the public, and I hope they manage to find release somehow. Anyone who would buy the tapes and just hold onto them for the alleged $50K in collector's value is a despicable human being, but there's no reason to believe that someone won't do just that.

50K is peanuts for what a decient cd release of this could bring in. Lets hope someone like Rhino or another label snatches it up and then releases it.

Now that I've read the listing, I'm not so sure... While its a cool historical document, I'd guess there are a lot of legal issues with the Montgomery estate. Plus the fact it's this dudes digital remastering of the original tapes... Maybe he did a killer job, I dunno, but it kinda murks up the lineage a bit...
