Tariffs on Mouser

Post by maxkracht »

Just placed my first mouser order of the year and certain items had a 20% tariff. I'm assuming these are Chinese origin. Looks like stuff from Canada and Mexico will get a substantial tariff on Monday if you live in the USA.

Send them an invoice for your receiving tariff!

I would love to see you in a trade war with Mouser over $6 worth of parts and an escalating 11000% receiving fee, because: meme!

:D

:o

Oh no. I'm inspired to do a funny thing. Thanks, Max!

Trade war with Mouser, or become a sovereign citizen and declare your garage a free trade zone. In all seriousness, if anyone needs Hammond stuff its probably wise to order sooner than later. Not sure what parts are made in Mexico, Carling?

Yeah, just noticed this on my parts order from them yesterday. It applied to the Yageo resistors and Panasonic ECQ caps.
