Some of y'all remember my online moniker, "nuke" from many years ago. Yup, it's me again, the real, one and only nuke.
I veered off the music track in the early 2000's, and pretty much completely away from anything electric. Got into acoustic guitar about 100%, as well as mandolin and piano.
In the midst of 'rona, dug out my electric bass and did some work on it that I had meant to do some 20 years earlier. One thing led to another and here are I am again, with electric guitars, amps, and so on. In all that time, never let go of my Fender tweed amps, nor my 1965 Pro Reverb, and the 1979 Deluxe reverb I've had since I was a teenager in the 1980's. Even my Peavey bass stack that I was gigging right up till I quit.
Got the bug to play again, despite some significant life events. Added a used Blues Jr IV to the mix recently, looking for a lightweight grab-n-go amp. My (now) "vintage" amp collection (which were mostly just used amps when I got them) has gotten too valuable to take out anymore. Of course, in true amp-nerd fashion, I ripped into Blues Jr as soon as I got home with it, despite being in nearly unused mint condition. LOL.
