Everyone drew the mighty =VH= logo on their grocery bag textbook covers in junior and high school. Hot For Teacher on MTV (back when it was about music) and blaring from Trans Ams in the stoner parking lot. Truly rich days. Dude was a true innovator. I was lucky enough to get to see him. Really at a loss for words...
What an experience it was to buy their first album, take it back to the dorm, and crank it up. No kidding, I bought it because of the album cover; never heard a cut on it before. I thought there was pure slash & burn rock & roll inside. I was not disappointed. Within minutes everybody on my hall came down to my room to hear it. Rock & Roll Extravaganza in a world of disco.
