Wow! I've been talking a lot.
Sorry. I'm not smart enough to take up this much bandwidth.

I'm pretty sure I'm a much bigger windbag than you and I don't know nearly as much. I even managed to get mocked today for giving wrong info. (That really wasn't nice, though I deserved the eye roll.) I don't feel deterred, though maybe I should.
If it pleases you to say something, you should do it. You seem to give sound commentary where ever you post.

Been there. Back in 1992. Early Internet days. I mentioned something about "low, geo-synchronous orbit" and gave everyone a good snicker.

Don't let Firestorm fool you.
The guy knows a lot about Fender amplifiers.
I hope he doesn't mind, but he is very knowledgeable.

Hey, at least he knows a lot about the only ones that really matter.

Ha! Fenders are funny. The "official" circuits were published, but Fender introduced new models at Summer NAMM and leading up to that used up existing inventory. You can modify a circuit card (what Fender called a "parts panel.") But you can't modify a chassis, so you often the next model circuit shoehorned into the old chassis. What do you do with a circuit designed for a presence control in a chassis without that extra hole? And before Forrest (I think it was Forrest) made him stop, Leo pulled amps off the line in the middle of the night to screw with them.
Marshalls started as 5F6As. Then went off on a slightly new direction. Sometimes I think Ken Bran didn't know what he was doing. But he can't defend himself now.
The smartest Marshall guys now are Greg Germino and Chris Merren. I think Chris worked a bit with Ken Fischer. Greg builds Marshalls from specific periods, underfiltered where they need to be for that ghost note sound.
See, long winded again.

I like the new can't shut up version better.

Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.
