Thats a cool vidio,I got lost a few times at what he was doing,Maybe I need to watch it again.He is right up there with that old guy who built the cabin up in alaska when it comes to the handsaw.Thanks for the vid,Mikey

He has another amp bulding bid. He makes a dovetail template from sticks, and a nicely made carbon fiber high pressure mold.

Clearly this is a dangerous man.

So the same guy as the carbon fiber amp. I watched the Strat vids. I wish I had a fraction of his skills and lived where he lives. I love obsessive eccentrics - But will someone please send this guy a Stew-mac and a Rockler catalog!

Must be in Australia or New Zealand with all those species available. Was he making his own Teflon there? I can't wait to see the final Strat!

I didn't have time this morning to finish watching 2, 3, 4, got half way through 4. I quit when he started making pickups. A while back I built a primitive sled for my router so I could use it as a planer. I now see that it just won't do and I'll be looking at something considerably more precise when the cold weather breaks and I don't think it will be that hard to do. What kills me is the guy doesn't use (or show us) a table saw.

Dudes got some forearms for sure .mine look like that except ive got them hidden under a thick layer of insulation. I'm just thinking why the whole time . I mean the first few seconds where he cuts the end off could have been done with a cheap skill saw in seconds. Instead of 5 mins of handsawing.
