I don't always order G-10, but when I do, I order the wrong size turrets to go with it. Stay solderless, my friends...

Yeah, it's been a not-so-good week for me and ordering stuff. Earlier, I ordered a bunch of cigar supplies for a buddy as a housewarming present. The one thing they forgot to send? The humidor...kinda important. At least this one was my own mistake. I added two items to the cart, and deleted the wrong one...On the bright side, once I finally order the new material/turrets to match what I've got, I'll have enough for twice as many projects!

When faced with thick G10 and skinny eyelets, I have drilled part way thru the back of the board, using a bit that gives me a flat floor, to accommodate the eyelets.

That's pretty brilliant! I thought of trying to use my Safe-T-Planer to mill down the 1/8" G-10, but I said screw it and ordered the appropriate G-10 this morning. I may use your solution when I run out of 1/16", though!

Plus, no one will ever see that side of the board...and you didn't either!
