Nobody Stocks Pot Lockwashers Any More!

Post by David Root »

Specifically, Switchcraft P-1014-9, or P-1971 or equivalent. 3/8 ID. 1/2 OD, steel. Simple stuff but Mouser, Digikey, Newark, no-one stocks them. Mouser will order 500 for you at $0.11 each. I don't think so!

Anyone know where I can get these for a reasonable price?

Try calling Steve at Apex Jr. He's got all sorts of things, maybe this, too. If not, I know that Weber has them (at least the used to), also probably not a listed item.

Thanx guys! The Mouser piece is Ni plated, nice, but $16/100. I know that isn't much in total cost of an amp, maybe $1.50 or so but I don't think I paid half that a few years ago.

mhartman, I cannot get the Home Depot Canada website to tell me what the price is, could you give me the SKU number and the price? In fact both the Home Depot and Home Hardware websites are quite inscrutable in that regard.

Exactly, it's just an 3/8 internal tooth washer. I pick them up from my local hardware store which is much cheaper than the packaged ones from Home Depot or Lowes.

Rock Lobster? Sounds like a severe case of caffeine deprivation.
