Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
I'd like to see Manning win for two teams. But; He's going to have a terrible time getting is own way with that defense. He doesn't have the mobility that Wilson or Kaepernick have. The Seahawk rush is pretty amazing and then the coverage is beyond amazing.
If Denver can win it, it will be on the ground, and they can't win it on the ground.

Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
My guess is Manning will pick apart the Seattle D in 5 yard chunks…he is going to use their front 4 push against them.
If he gets 3 seconds, he can go short and let his receivers do the work.

As much as I don't like the broncos they will win.

Seahawks defense is formidable and will expose any weakness that Denver has. I don't have a dog in the hunt so don't care either way. Gut feel, Seahawks by 10.
Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
I'm rooting for the Broncos only because of my wife's family living there are the biggest fans.
Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
I can't remember any QB in history that can walk up to the line and read a defense better or faster than Peyton Manning. He's better than most analysts. In good passing weather..... Manning by 10

^^^ Yes, weather will be a factor.
Forecast as of this morning: temps above freezing by game time, no snow/precip, and no wind.

I wonder how they pick the stadium for the Superbowl?
Perhaps Miami would have been a more comfortable venue?
I was flabbergasted when I heard how much tickets were going for.
Like, $1,500 for a nose bleed seat.
Oh, and Seahawks by 12.

Money. There is no other consideration for anything when it comes to Mr Goodell. That being said, NFL does want to see if a cold weather SB will work.Structo wrote:I wonder how they pick the stadium for the Superbowl?

This is also the matchup that Goodell wanted from the beginning of the season:he wanted AFC championship Pats v Broncos, Manning to win, NFC championship Seahawks v 49ers, Seahawks to win. He wants Manning to get another ring.
Could be tough. If Seahawks D gets the jump, could be trouble. Still, Bronco's last two games, we've seen Manning game control in top form.

I flew over the Miami stadium during Super Bowl XXIII in 1989 (commercial flight). I wonder if that flight-path is allowed these days?
If Miami got all of the Super Bowls, it would contain all the graft-and-corruption that goes with that game in one place ...... rather than spreading it around all over the country. Miami wouldn't mind a bit. Common folk wouldn't mind it either, since none of us mere mortals can possibly afford to attend that game anyway.
Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
What a conundrum. I grew up in Washington, and now I live in Colorado. I think I'm rooting for the Seahawks cuz they've never won a Super Bowl and I'd like to see them do it after all these years.
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

Look at it this way, you have two teams, and they're both in the Super Bowl. One of them has to win, thus you can't lose.
Re: Super Bowl, who you got?
That's a good way to look at it Nick! Actually, truth be told, I never really warmed up to the Broncos just because they were always such a rival to my Seahawks all those years I lived in WA.
