Your Bucket List?

Post by Structo »

Hey guys and gals.

I thought I would ask if any of you actually have a bucket list of things you want to do before you are too old to enjoy them.

I find as I get older, my bucket list shrinks and I have a hard time even coming up with any.

Right now it is to win the Mega Bucks Lottery. :D
That should be enough to fulfill any wish I have.
I would be able to take care of close relatives and family.

Earlier in life:

1) Build a custom home (not gonna happen)

2) Buy a nice Les Paul (done)

3) Retire with a comfortable living (axed)

4) A new Dodge Challenger RT (maybe some day)

5) Build a Dumble Amp (done with thanks to this forum)

6) ?

For you younger cats, what's your bucket list?
Tom

Don't let that smoke out!

I've started three different airplanes. Two scratch built. Never finished those.

I'm gonna finish this kit Zenith CH701 if it's the last thing I ever do.

Get a 911 of some kind. Like about an '80 SC. Yeah, that's enough. I'd rather have about a '92 Mondial though. We'll see. That one may still happen.

I've cleaned up most of my youthful bucket items. The custom homes, the airplanes, the yachts. I'm pretty happy with how it all played out. I could have been a better father though. I guess it's never too late for that.

Learn to actually play guitar would be a good plan. I hold one and sing pretty good though.

Visit my son and see his recording studio in Toronto

Sell my big empty nest house in Florida and move to a nice little refurbished old house in the foothills near Denver, where my other son lives

Visit the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, where I was born

Visit as many National Parks as possible

Keep my wife of 39 years happy for another 39 years

And play guitar now and then :-)

^ Same here. I'm turning 24 in March. I think some of the responses on an anti bucket list would be amusing. Haha.

Since there are some younguns here--take care of your ears! Those 100 watt (even 50 watt) amps might seem like the cat's meow--and they are if used properly, but they will do a number on your ears with repeated exposure. I know. I have the constant buzz of a million angry mosquitos in my head that never goes away. That was my anti-bucket list.

My bucket list would be to--um, I don't know. How about live in an apartment with a shower head that wasn't sized for midgets.

Yes, vertically challenged. :)

I don't know what they had in mind when they installed the shower heads in these apartments. I'm not a bean pole by any means but having to crouch down to even get the water to hit my neck is ridiculous.

Oh, I know for my bucket list--Leave the world, or at least my small and insignificant spot, a happier place.
