Use to go every year, last time we had a table there, we got into it with a guy selling guitars behind our table. Seems if you sell amps, you can't play them loud enough for 2 sec for anyone to "try out" with out some idiot going nuts!
So, we haven't been back. Funny how those "electric guitar" need an amp for them. I have some friends that go every year, and lots of good guy/gals are usually there. If you go, and your after something or really wanting something and see one there at a fair price, BUY IT. Don't haggle or wait. I missed many things waiting thinking I could get it later.

Ohhhhhh, I clicked on those pics and My Gosh! I could do some serious damage to the budget if I were able to be there.

Darn it! Why does Columbus have to be so far from here today?

Enjoy! :)

haha 90 or 91 Dallas I had a booth next to Gerald Weber. I have never liked that guy. :)

At larger shows there is an area for amps to be tested. You can take the bracing out of a 100 year old instrument minding it's own business with a 100w amp. Ouch.

He got all his good ideas from my buddy Ed Oleck and Larry Hendrickson!

They weren't polite ideas, but you can only hear that lick at stage volume so many times in 4 days.

Remember when that guy that had worked for Gerald posted here?

It was not flattering.

But I have to admit when I got back into tube amps I did buy a couple of Gerald's books.

He is pretty opinionated and a lot of what he says, just isn't true.

Small world Miles, one degree of separation. I used to jam with Larry's kid Lars in the early 80s. Talk about the vintage equipment at that time that they had  Good people.
