Flu Season

Post by boots »

Good Lawd Awmighty this has been a mother of a flu season here. My son and I are both on our second round of flu. First the respiratory flu (probably swine flu?), now the stomach flu. We've had flu in our house since the beginning of December.

No, I didn't get a flu shot. From now on, I will be getting a shot every year as soon as they come out.

Don't know if it has been a bad flu season all over the country, or just here? Or just my weak old body is more susceptible than it used to be? Hope all you TAGsters are staying healthier than we are.

You might be right about that cbass. But my wife got a flu shot and she hasn't been sick at all yet this winter.

I know I'm really sick when beer and coffee don't even sound good.

I skip flu shots.

101 won't save anyone from anything either. :)

Oregon is getting hit hard.

Already has killed seven people with 200 in the hospitals.

Strange that they can't save somebody in the hospital but my wife who works for Kaiser says it is really bad this year and that by the time people get to the hospital they are already in trouble.

Of course this is the year that I didn't get a shot.
I am vulnerable because of my heart condition.....:(

Plus my wife probably is bringing home bugs to me. :x

Don't let that smoke out!
