post your pedal board

Post by xtian »

Because we are so envious of all the fun had over at TGP, here is a "post your pedal board" thread for TAG!

My board has been evolving over the past two years, but the Swiss Army heart has always been the M9, which makes it possible to play the wide variety of tones required for modern praise band. The M9 is quiet, flexible, and very cool.

I have three late additions: Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone (compressor), Empress Multidrive, and EHX POG2. Flavor!

The Line 6 G50 wireless system is the bomb. Very low noise, near zero latency.

All powered by the inexpensive and capable JOYO pedal power supply.

I built the pedal board about 15 years ago and revamped it a few times. On the side is a convenience receptical and I put some LED night lights under the cover. Not much really, just a tuner, Wah, Delay, Distortion and Phase 90. Mostly I play direct with everything bypassed, but I use the wah and the boost on a few solos.

... on some mighty stylish carpet!

here is my pedal pile, those with OCD look away now

you can see the wooden boards that were installed to support my switchy/boxy/knobby business

running an auto wah, optical compressor, octave/fuzz, rebote delay or magnus modulus delay, boss DD7 mostly for looping, and a super hard on to buffer through that madness/tube fuzz turned up. all homebrew except the boss of course

(my stupid tablet has two crappy cameras instead of one good one, go figure)

Echo board when I won't be using my own amp. Love the Barber Tone Press and CE FET dream(*made by forumite odourboy).
Old Ground Control + GCX switcher does all patch changes on an Intellifex and all channel switching on RedPlate Magic Dust + a teeny compressor from my guitar case.

I see they are not too popular around here but what the hay. This is what I gig with so I can cover a lot of different sounds.

Me too, just put the phase 90 in there after adding a new switch and LED last night.

Most important piece is the AC polarity checker that is always in my power strip.
