Black Forest wildfire
We had a bad one this time last year. Here we are again! 15,000 acres burned. 360 houses lost. 38,000 people evacuated. 94,000 acre evacuation area. The numbers will continue to rise. More high winds and heat today. The fire will run rampant again shortly...I can see the winds picking up. Lot's of smoke in the air. I am not in the path of the fire, but I have many friends that are.

I was wondering how you were doing with that. Good to hear you are safe, but it will be hard on a lot of folks.

Seen a bit of what's happening on the news. It's pretty bad. Hope you and your friends are well and get past this unscathed.

It's toasty in northern New Mexico also - three fires burning in the region at the moment. You got any water in Colorado? The woods here are crunchy.

I hear that NM is burning up as well. I hope things go well for you over there.
Nope, no water here for quite a few years. We used to have water...it's that wet stuff, right? Oh yeah, that's a thing of the past. We're on water restrictions.
Forget oil, the world will be going to war over water in the not-to-distant future. It'll be a fight worth fighting.
