I Want This Guitar

I'm not usually into boutique guitars, but this one is sex. It's something else... Maybe because it has a LP shaped body? Someone lend me 13K. I'll pay it back slowly. Shouldn't take that long...

There is a misprint on that web-page:
SPECS:

- Total weight 3466 grams (3,466 kilos)

PRICING:

- $13,000.00
I doubt it weighs three thousand four hundred and sixty six kilos. Now, please don't say "Hey Nick, that's the "metric" system ..... the comma is supposed to be a period." Because if commas are periods in metric-speak .... then the comma in the price-tag must also be a period ..... right?

Nice looking instrument. Way too rich for my blood though, metric-speak notwithstanding.

That thing looks decadent and like overkill to me.

What moose in his right mind would donate his shin bone? Aren't moose shins convered under the Lacy Act?

Gotta love the plywood trim on the headstock.

I guess guitars this expensive demand an acquired taste.

I'm out. It's ugly at any cost.

Oh, that explains it... This must be for an investor...

That's not plywood, that's a hand-finished multi-layer laminate of selected tonewoods.

Yeah, it's a pretty weird guitar. I knew some would find it gaudy, and coming from a guy who just needs a nice LP, I was surprised I paid it any mind at all. Don't know what it is. I'd probably fancy the cash more than the thing, though. Could buy a few RI LPs for that.

I'll one-up that one with this piece of ancient alien technology...

I must have said it wrong. Let me try again...

I love the plywood-looking trim on the headstock!

If Liberace played guitar, this would be the one.

The one I always wanted something I saw Keith Richards playing once. It had a metal front that was etched.

I wish I could find more info on it.

Zemaitis!

Umm.. neat looking, ya know.

Check out Veleno. Not the pony show that is a Zemaitis but more odd and even kind of playable.
