I think the misunderstanding is blues vs pentatonic.

I have mercy on him. Here's why:

No. Really listen for at least 20 seconds.

Didn't take me long to hit the "done" button. Harry Chapin said (in a song): "A fool plays the blues like machine gun Kelly, 500 note to the bar..."

Somehow I knew it was about Yngwie before I even clicked on the link.

I had never heard of him until I bought, "Rising Force" years ago.

But his million notes per minute quickly turns me off on his later stuff.

Anybody ever see that video of him showing his strat collection?
Has them laying all over the floor on top of one another....

That was strike two.

You should have seen his early collection.

There was a drug importer in Miami we new as "Jack Strat". Jack was murdered by a business partner and they burned his mansion down. Jack had around 250 colored maple and slab boards. They were in rows of single colors in stands all over the house. Maybe 50 of those guitars were destroyed, but the rest were smoke damaged to some extent.

Welp.

I'm a shredder. We both sort of worship Ulrich Roth. He is the only other guy I ever knew who could play all the parts and make them sound like chorus to the original parts, whereas Kirk Hammet is a schlubby schlong.

I like Ulrich Roth. He actually says something when he's talking ninety miles a minute.

LOL, this is what he actually played:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAnOtwHxvM0
Starts at 5:48. First number is 3 minutes and I thought, well, it doesn't really matter. Play the 2nd number at 8:48. There's a whole hour of it.
