Hi wattage rheostats
Where would you guys recommend buying rheostats? Specifically 25 ohm, 100W (minimum). Cheapest I've foud is $45 a pop.

Re: Hi wattage rheostats
What am I doing with them? Well, the aforementioned dummy loads in a different thread won't work. Built them for the church with a line out, but they don't have the capability of using impulse responses, so I figure some cheap attenuators are in order.
Re: Hi wattage rheostats
Sorry, I still can't figure out why you are using attenuators in a church. You also mentioned that it would be used for line out. I am not trying to be nosey but just like to learn what "church with a line out" really means.
Re: Hi wattage rheostats
If you can use I have 2 pieces of a Ohmite 0534 50 Ohm 150W
I can sell you for $12.50 each
