That was pretty weird... I kind of liked it.

The cat thing is a touch creepy though.

Catatonic audience.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Ah, I remember.
Queen meets Talking Heads Video.

Speaking of which.
I cooked up 5 gallons of pale ale yesterday.
Full boil with grain bag.
Late hops addition.
Relatively fast chill on the wort fermenter and pitched yeast at 72F.

It's fermenting like CRAZY.
It was rapid at ony 12 hours in, and now at 24 it's pushing a lot of foam.

Should I worry?
Or should I celebrate?
I just know it's going to be a rock and rolling beer when it's ready.

Whoops, sorry wrong forum.
But true story.

I made some homebrew pale ale....I bought a 6pak of Sierra Nevada, opened them all up, let them sit out overnight to room temp and let them go flat.....best ale in the land...authentically room temp and no carbonation like a good limey ale

I'd link DEVO but I have been advised that AT&T is charging $9,000 a byte for over-usage of the Internet we already pay too much for.

Jacklegged hornswagglin' slack-jawed no-drivin money hungry jerks.

I can barely afford to type any more.

I wouldn't worry too much.

It's been 10 years since I brewed professionally. I left beer for the deeper pockets of the wine industry, but I will offer some comments.

Hoppier beers can tend to foam more.

What temp is it at now? I assume that you have a limited ability to control the temp during fermentation.

If it gets too warm and ferments too fast, it might have a hard time finishing out, especially if it cools too much before fermentation is complete. A steady fermentation temp is best.

However, if it gets really warm and ferments super fast it can get strange flavors.

I generally prefer a fairly low mash temp to emphasize fermentability and a bit lower fermentation temp. I like drier, hoppy beer.

@Chief, sorry to add to the wrong forum hijacking of this thread. Oh yeah, Sparks played at my high school grad night at Disneyland in 1984.

Man you aint kidding. No Joke, it was HELL! To make it worse, they wouldn't let us out. All I wanted to do was go back on the bus and go to sleep. Instead, we found a park bench and took a nap. It sucked.

Trapped in the happiest place on Earth.
