burger to die for....before it kills you anyway....

Post by chief mushroom cloud »

Just got back from lunch at Slater's 50/50.....

It was hard not to order one to go for later (but I was stuffed).....
Could be a new addiction. I have to restrain myself.
If you ever come to So CA, you gotta go......it is the best burger I've ever had.
Don't overthink it. Just drink it.

Another in the line of high-risk burgers is one from a place near here: the patty, a slice of cheese, three strips of bacon, a slab of fried goetta, and a fried egg! You have to understand Cincinnatti's German heritage to understand this.

Best burger I ever had was deep fried for a minute before it hit a griddle to finish cooking it and it had a fist sized piece of molten cheese inside, served on a crusty italian bun with sea salt pepper and fresh garlic that was toasted in an oven after it came off the griddle the burger finished on!!!

I just cried. I cried..
