Came across this one and thought it might be of interest to some of you... After all, who doesn't have a transformer lying around?

Crest guy put on a show with a Crest 10k once and scared the crap out of me with banging two cable ends pushing 5kw a side! Eff that!

We bought two. heh

Looks like he wound his own heavy gauge winding over the trafo.

I've seen induction heaters made in similar way.

Maybe you could reflash getters with that if you had a gassy tube.

:lol: I can't find the link anymore, but I once saw a video of getter flashing that was awe-inspiring: 50,000 degrees in 250 milliseconds.
