I'm trying to take a scientific and mathematical approach to an understanding of amp building along with effects building.
I've taken both of the introductory physics classes, I'm taking linear algebra this semester and discrete math next semester, so I'm wanting to put some of this technical knowledge to task.
Can anyone recommend any books that walk a reader through first principals of physics and math to completion of projects?
Thanks for any help.

For a mathematical treatment of guitar amplifiers, I'd highly recommend Richard Kuehnel's books:

Merlin Blencowe's books are also must-haves if you're serious about understanding and building (guitar) amplifiers:

Thank you both very much.
