I have hundreds of hours right-seating, and back when I could afford it I used to do Fighter Pilots USA at least once a year. Based out of Orlando for a while, I even drove Crazy Horse once! My folks had planes when I was a kid. It has become way out of my lifestyle to keep up with a plane.

Damn. I really envy you for that one!

I never have crawled into a warbird. Wow, what an experience Crazy Horse must have been. I've got 10 hours in a Pitts S2A though. I'm going to fly this for a few years and get myself smartened up. By then I hope I'll have the bux lined up for a Pitts. A Pitts pilot has to use a wheelbarrow just to keep his frank and beans from dragging in the dirt!

Thanks but no thanks skybolt.
That's a step I need not explore!

I just had my moment of mullet inspired 80's thrill when I found a cassette adapter that originally went to a portable CD player.

I thought "What if I just plugged the MP3 player into it"?
Yiiippp!

Not mine, but just like it:

Me too!

Ah well.
I had a couple of Mustang Mach 1's at one time.
I like big muscle cars.

Can't argue with the real deal, if that is yours, it is sweet skybolt.

If it isn't yours, it's still sweet.

The MCSS has the comforts of home and is a cool ride.
My logic is...everyone has Camaro's and Firebirds.
An unmolested MCSS is getting tough to find.

Mach 1 is good. That black ford there is original I think. I saw a kit one at a cruising weekend in Morro Bay over Cinco de Mayo and it got me kinda stirred up. There was a 55 Cheby 4 door just like the one I had too. Sleeper. Full bore double throwdown 'vette internals and just plain bitchen. Too bad I wasted all my money on rent and groceries. And boats.

I've had a lot of them that I would like to get back. The one that I'd most like back though wasn't even mine. It was my brothers '41 Willys. Chevy 409 w/dual 4 barrels. 4 speeds. Tires about a foot wide. The damn thing was useless for anything but weekend cruising. Gawd aweful uncomfortable. Something broke every time you took it out. Corvette yellow. Kool factor off the chart.

My bro offered it to me for chump change after he blew it up. No money at the time. Oh well.

I can tell there's a generational thing going on here. The cars you guys are talking about came WAY after my car days. I drive a '92 Ford Ranger PU now. It's just not a high priority like it once was. I suspect that's probably true for all of us.

This just came in off the hot wire:

Osama Bin Laden was living with 3 wives in one compound, and never left the house for 5 years.
It is now believed that he called the Navy Seals himself.

I used to deal big watches, vintage guitars, cloisonne, and fast cars. Yeeee!

I am not a Ford guy at heart, but I have had like 20+ 65-6 Fastbacks, a couple 65 Shelbys, a couple KRs, a 289 FIA, and the worst car ever made, a 72 Pantera. Keep 'em a couple weeks and dump 'em at the swap. Back when money was worth a dime, and talking was worth the time.

Ok, I'm a crotchety old bastard. Officially. I couldn't afford a hi-po intake these days.

Best thing I ever owned that wasn't an instrument was a watch. Does anyone still wear watches? I never have.

Mmmm guitars.
