I guess as we grow old there is no easy answer why something hurts.

I used to be on an opiate pain plan but when I discovered that I was more hooked on the pills than pain relief I got off that shit.
Wasn't easy by any means.

I may have a trip up to Washington as soon as they get their shit together.

I think Colorado has their act together much better than Washington.

But, as anytime you let bureaucrats have there say inevitably, something gets screwed up.

Pot was always my favorite above alcohol or other drugs.

Never heard of a serial killer that was a habitual pot smoker......

It is amazing how we can buy alcohol at any corner store and how many deaths are a result of alcohol, that we worry about a certain plant so much.

I know that opium poppy's is a plant as well, but heroin is a far cry from smoking pot.

Yep I agree, some pains can be relieved by marijuana.
And cancer patients that can't stand to eat.

Unfortunately, I got popped by a over zealous piss tester one time because of my union drug testing.

I hadn't smoked in years and was visiting a friend about 200 miles away.
My father had recently died and I was tempted by the herb.
We smoked a few doob's over the weekend and I never felt so good.

About two weeks later I got a random piss test, I was in a union that allowed such things.
Well I failed the test, I was flabbergasted.
I knew the owner of the company that I worked for and told him exactly what went down.

He said he understood but his hands were tied by the fricken' insurance company that mandated drug testing.

The amazing thing is I know of heroin users as well as meth users that able to pass these tests all the time.

Long story short, I had to miss about two months of work due to this bullshit.

So I lost about $8K in income, all because I smoked a plant..............

Liability only insurance for about $300 a year. Share a hangar someplace. It's small enough you could share a hangar with a cherokee or an RV something. Honest injun Miles that's a stunner deal.
