No problem dude. I laughed.

I wouldn't have made it this far without a sense of humor.

I get worse towards the end of the year, and at the beginning of summer because business drops to almost nil. It's off season until about Jan 15th, but you know.. I never believe business is coming back. It gets slacker and worse as the years go by. We had our best year ever at the studio, but I wasn't included. I have barely scraped by this year. I might be too old for this shit.

Like I said, I know the feeling of pressure. I feel it every day, whole life. Being independant is liberating.. p'sheah.. whatever. I am not a rebel.

I have two interviews tomorrow.

My mother always marveled that I always seemed to land on my feet after a bad go at things. I'm not sure this is really true. I'm just real quick at getting up on my feet after busting my ass.

Sorry to hear of your layoff. Here's hoping your interviews turn into a great opportunity.

Thanks everyone. One interview got postponed until tomorrow. The one I went to today I think I nailed. People seemed really nice, interesting work, and great benefits.

Even if I don't get an offer from them, it was definitely a confidence booster. It's nice in a technical interview when your answers are so good that they ask you if you've ever taught the subject.

I may be old, but I ain't dead yet.

It's like the old saying you know? I was looking for a job when I got the last one!

Go ahead full mister.

Well, I had what turned into a five hour interview today, and they offered me on the spot. I even got a raise and better benefits. It really helps having worked in Amazon in a high profile group. The VP of Engineering had worked at Amazon and used some of the tools I wrote.

Now I'm going to go out and buy a bunch of amp parts, and then have no time to work on them. :D
