Even I can't sneak up on my wife in bed (usually).
About a month ago I did catch a good sized spider before she noticed.
Amazing where these bugs get to.
When we lived in Tucson, one night when I was out of town a scorpion crawled into our bed and stung my wife on a finger, her arm swelled up to the elbow real quick and it was pretty painful for a while.
Fortunately it was only a baby scorpion and not the real dangerous variety. Freaked me out too because I couldn't do anything directly except tell her to go to the ER.
They sneak in under the garage doors, or run in when the doors are open and hide, then come in under the door into the house.
Which Stick Bugs... Pentatomidae or Boisea Trivittata, the "boxelder bug”?
Gross-out moment: I think that the Boxelder Bug is eaten in some areas of Indo-China... Laos and Vietnam. It's considered “Fine Gourmet”. At least, that's what I read somewhere.
Cheers,
Rob
